Base rates entered by the providers, for a compact car or sedan, before tax (GST + QST) and any travel fees. When a part is needed (battery, tire, pads), the provider states whether it is included before you accept. Updated October 14, 2026.
SUVs, pickups and commercial vans cost more than a sedan — more weight to tow, bigger tires, bigger battery.
THE factor for seasonal changes. Tires already mounted on rims = a simple wheel swap. Bare tires = dismount, mount, balance. Often double.
Most providers include a base radius (10 to 20 km). Beyond that, per-km fees apply, especially on the North and South Shores.
Evenings, nights, weekends and snowstorms: several providers add an emergency surcharge. The price shown in your request already reflects it.
A new battery, a tire or brake pads are sometimes included in the rate, sometimes extra — it depends on the provider. They tell you, with the part price, before installing it.
